Okay, it’s done. Donald Trump is officially the 45th President of the United States. However, we really thought that now since he won, he wouldn’t feel the need to blatantly lie to the American people anymore; however, we were wrong.

In fact, PolitiFact has fact-checked Trump’s inaugural address while correcting him on his false claims. That’s right, he actually lied in his inaugural address. The big lie of the day was that he won the 2016 presidential election in a “landslide.”

The fact-checking organization took to Twitter to call out the 45th President of the United States for lying to the American people just moments after taking the oath of office.

PolitiFact tweeted the following with a link to its article explaining how Trump lost the popular vote, just in case, he didn’t understand either.

‘Donald Trump has claimed a landslide victory. That’s false,’ PolitiFact tweeted on Friday.

Trump won the 2016 presidential election with 306 electoral votes, 36 more than the 270 needed to secure the presidency.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by over 3 million votes, and 227 electoral votes.

PolitiFact ranks statements from U.S. politicians on a “Truth-O-Meter” to determine if a given statement is true, mostly true, half true, mostly false, false, or completely false, which they refer to as “pants on fire.”

Moreover, according to a recent tweet from the news organization, they’ve fact-checked Trump 348 times, and found his claims to be lies over fifty percent of those times.
